Review & Testimonial Funnel

Status: Concept — Last Updated: 2026-05-15

After a project is marked complete, the CRM automatically kicks off a post-project satisfaction loop — turning happy customers into public reviews, video testimonials, and word-of-mouth, all incentivized with a gift card and a free vacation offer.

Trigger

Project status → Complete → system automatically sends a survey via email and SMS within a configurable window (TBD — hours or days after completion).

Step 1 — Satisfaction Survey

Email + SMS survey sent automatically. One key question: "Were you satisfied with the project?" Two paths branch from here.

ResponseWhat Happens
Not SatisfiedInternal flag raised, contractor alerted, separate follow-up flow (TBD)
SatisfiedCustomer enters the review funnel below

Step 2 — Review Funnel (Satisfied Customers)

2a — Story Questions

Before asking for a review, the system asks the customer three guided questions:

  1. What was the biggest problem you had before we started?
  2. What did we handle or fix?
  3. How did that change things for you?

These prime the customer to write a specific, compelling review — and generate testimonial content the business can reuse in newsletters and ads.

Customer is shown links to post their review on:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Any other platforms the contractor is listed on (Yelp, BBB, Angi, etc.)

Gift card incentive: Each platform the customer posts to adds money to a digital debit/gift card delivered automatically. The more platforms they post on, the more they earn.

2c — Video Testimonial + Free Vacation

Offer: Record a short video testimonial, get a free vacation

The ask is simple: record yourself saying what you just wrote in your review. In exchange, the customer receives a free 5-day all-expenses-paid vacation. Fulfillment is handled entirely by Marketing Boost — no cost to the contractor beyond the membership.
